ediblestranger Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Some of the schools' websites' curriculum descriptions are more specific than others. I am having a particularly hard time finding out what practice methods are taught at UCLA Luskin, other than courses offering a general overview of various methods and one on CBT. Anyone care to share what they know about the practice methods emphasized at UCLA? Feel free to list any other schools and the practice methods they teach, as I think this could be incredibly useful for everyone on this forum - digging up this information can be a little challenging depending on the school.
esimanon Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Typically the practice models aren't individually talked about as being emphasized at schools since they provide students with an overview of the most prominent models used in the field. If there's a particular one that you're interested in, look to see if there are any professors that specialize or do research on that model. Also, looking at peer reviewed articles on your favorite models with have the authors whom are usually professors Hope that answers your question
