NYU Accelerated Program - 2016

I applied to the Spring 2016 accelerated program. Still waiting on one reference letter (due Oct. 30) but already anxious to hear back! Good luck to you, post if you hear anything and I'll do the same

Awesome! Have you heard anything about other people who have gotten in in the past? Like what the average gpa, experience, etc. is? I have no idea haha!

I've heard nothing actually, I was so preoccupied with finishing my application that I didn't really try to find any of that out... now I'm wishing I would have! I think the demographic of the current class is listed on the NYU MSW page somewhere (maybe FAQ?) but I can't say exactly. Hopefully someone will join the thread with some insight!

Hello, 

I applied and was accepted into this program, but I haven't decided if I will go yet.

I graduated with a B.A. in English from NYU with a GPA of 3.5. I've been working for 9 years in communications but have a lot of relevant volunteer experience.

I'm waiting to hear back from Columbia and Hunter before I make my final decision. Good luck to all!

I applied on and completed my application on October 1st and was accepted on October 15th. I have yet to decide if I will go. Good luck!
