Hi ,

As an asian, this is how my profile looks like right now.

UG- 7.9/10 (99th percentile in a class of 60)

PG-8.1/10 (85th percentile in a class of 30)

GRE- 323 Q-161 V 162.

I have published a paper (although at a low impact journal Q4) and have previous research experience in the Robotics. Strong LORs. I have shortlisted some colleges based on information available with US News  and would love to hear any suggestions to improve it.

Safe  to moderate choices:

Colorado School of Mines

Oregon State University

Worchester Polytechnic University

University of Utah

U Of Texas Dallas

Moderate to Ambitious choices:

Washington University in St. Louis (WUSTL)

Vanderbilt University

Ohio State University

Northwestern University

University of Pennsylvannia

Very ambitious :

Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) (My dream choice!)

University of Texas- Austin

University of Southern California

Texas A&M

Could anybody tell me how realistic my shortlist is and what are the other colleges I could consider based on my profile. Thanks :)
