Linkage Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 Hi guys. A little about me, I am from Purdue (no gpa inflation), have dual degree in EE and ME. But, with all the work load going, my GPA is in the 2.8 range. I know it is rather low for grad school. I have an OK GRE (323) and planning to go to ME grad school for mechantronics or robotics. So the question is: what is my chance to remain in Purdue? Or, which other schools is reaching, OK, and safe for me? Also, is there anything I can do to improve my situation? All advice welcome, Thanks for your time!
Texan_Air Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 Well it depends on your other application factors. Do you have research experience? Work related experience? Upward trend in grades? Also is this for a masters or PHD? For Purdue, it would probably be better if you ask your professors there in person, since they would give you the best honest answers for your application there.
Linkage Posted November 11, 2015 Author Posted November 11, 2015 I am just getting cold feet to talk to professors. Everything has a first time.
