Hi Everyone,

I have recently graduated with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Ryerson University, and I am very passionate in becoming a teacher. I think I would be a really good fit in OISE's MT program, and I would like a chance to prove that. I plan to apply to the Intermediate / Senior MT program with two teachable subjects in Mathematics and Physics. I fulfilled the requirement of completing 6 courses for Mathematics and at least 5 Physics courses during my undergrad studies. The GPA for my final year is 3.22 / 4.33, and I have also converted each course grade to the UofT equivalent which brings me to a final year average of about 3.2/4.0. By the end of December, I will have completed around 250 - 300 hours working with students and tutoring students in the Computer Engineering and Tech department at a High School that I attended in the past. I also wrote a Grade 11 Curriculum for Computer Engineering document, and a literacy in technology document to help prepare students for the OSSLT was also written by me and handed to the teacher I work under. I have also worked with kids under the age of 11, tutoring these students in English and Math. I realize that the MT program is very competitive, however I have been told that not many applicants apply to both mathematics and physics. So, I was just wondering what are my chances getting into OISE's MT program?
