californikkation Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 I'm starting my research into MA and PhD programs in Comparative Ethnic Studies, but I am unsure exactly how to research or where I should be looking to find more schools. I'm looking for tips on specific schools as well as how one goes about the grad school researching process. I'm interested in ethnic studies programs that don't necessarily focus on a specific race (i.e. I'm not looking specifically for Africana or Asian American studies), as I want to study race relations on a grand scale. Specifically, I think I would want to focus my research on race and popular culture. Is there a good place to find like a comprehensive list of schools offering Ethnic Studies degrees? Should I be looking at programs by other names, like American Studies? So far, I am looking into the MA at San Francisco State University and the PhD programs at UC Berkeley, Riverside, Santa Cruz, and possibly San Diego. If you have advice toward these specific programs, that would be appreciated too!
