hello guys,

my gre test is very soon and these essays below are my responses to 4 issue and argument tasks.please give me your opinion about them.

Governments should offer a free university education to any student who has been admitted to a university but who cannot afford the tuition.

Write a response in which you discuss your views on the policy and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider the possible consequences of implementing the policy and explain how these consequences shape your position.

Innovative and creative nation need educated people. If the students stop studying after high school, the society will deteriorate because it will not have specialists in different fields of study. Some students have no choice other than stop studying after high school because they cannot pay the tuition. Therefor, the Government should pay money to the students who cannot cover the tuition.

Education plays a big role in building individual future because it provides great opportunities to him. First, when student enrolled to the university, he will study in specific field, so he will be expert in that field. As a result, he will find a good job, and he will get enough salary that allows him to live in satisfaction, however, if the student did not complete studying after the high school, he will have to accept to work with low income. For these reasons, it will be better for government to offer free university for students who cannot offer the tuition.

In addition to the benefits of education on the individual, it has major contributes on society. In other words, more educated means that we have greater society. These educated people will improve the country because it will have expert in many different field. Consequently, the country will not need help from out side. Also, if all the people have a good job, the percent of poverty and crime will reduce. Because the crimes spread among the poor people, government must facilitate the education for them by affording free universities and encouraging these people to complete studying.

In other hand, affording free education might have disadvantages. First, free education may cost the government too much money, so the economic state of the country will be badly affected as well. Second, some students will not work hard at university because they do not pay the tuition. Also, even the people from middle class who can offer the tuition with some difficulties will ask for free education. In this case it hard for government to say no. In order to avoid these disadvantages, government should offered free education to student who cannot offer the tuition, but it has to put specific criteria for the students who deserve the free education, for example, high grade, low income, and desire.

In conclusion, government should provide free education to the students with low income. However, it should carefully choose these students in order to get the highest benefit from them.

I usually don't say anything like everyone else, but I do wonder why some people assume that there are chumps out there who will read their long-ass boring essays and give them advice for free.
