brush Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 I'm interested how many PhD's the various philosophy graduate programs graduate each year. I swear I saw this information somewhere before but now I can't find it. I'm just curious since I would expect these larger programs to have slightly higher acceptance rates (relative to similarly ranked schools). Thanks.
maxhgns Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 We have about 30 students and graduate 0-2 each year.
NathanKellen Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 UConn has about 30 students and graduates 1-4 each year. (as far as I know - I may be a bit off, but I'm sure you could email the DGS and ask for official numbers)
sidebysondheim Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 UNC has about 30 (38 to be exact), and based off of a quick glance at the placement page it looks like since 2010 it is as few as 2 and as many as 9. philstudent1991 1
