I have done MSc Integrated in Mathematics and Scientific Computing at IIT Kanpur (graduated in 2014). My CGPA was 7.7/10.0 (bit on low side - reason of concern). Since then I have worked for a year at a high frequency trading start up and currently at JP Morgan as an analyst. My GRE score is 156(V) and 168(Q), TOEFL is 106. I have not given GRE Maths. I am looking for a doctoral program in Mathematical finance/stochastic maths. I have applied at Washington University in St. Louis, Northwestern university ,Berlin School of Mathematics, Stony Brook University and Santa Barbara,. I am not sure about my chances of getting into them. Can anyone suggest if I should go for safer colleges or these colleges are fine for application? Would University of Waterloo, Canada and University of western ontario be safer?
