I recently took my gre and got v-550 & q-790.Boy,it was a really rough experience.i know i dont have such a good score but i am ready to help lightbulb.gifgrad.gif

This,in a nutshell is my profile :-

i have a gpa of 8.36 on a 10 point scale.my majors is in electrical engineering from the west bengal university of technology.

class 10-91.3%

class 12-72.0%(Jaundice!!!)smilie_yuck.gif

Ieee member,national creativity olympiad winner,member of the institution of engineers, final year project on longitudinal system stabilty.

Job experience of 6 months in INFOSYS by the time i attend the schools in roughly SEP 2010.

Strong recommenders,statement of purpose ,letter of reference etc...

Can anybody please suggest me to what colleges i should apply?

Did you copy the list from USNEWS?

Looking at your list has too many ambitious universities like UWashington,UWisconsin, UMinnesota etc. Refine the list and there are other good universities too.And by not mentioning the area you going to specialize in its almost impossible to predict your chances at the universities.

sorry sudeepg 123 ..failed to mention it. my interest it is M.S. in electrical engineering...and yes i copied it from us news,because i had no clear start point,living in india/uk it is difficult to get a hang of which us university is good and might possibly admit me with adequate funding..what do ya think?
