Link Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 Hi, First time to this forum and nice meeting you all. Well, this is my first time applying to the NSF award, and I am concerned with one of the eligibility requirements. In the application form it says the applicants should not have completed more than 12 months of graduate study before Aug 1st 2009. I started my grad course work since Jan 2008, so by rule, I am technically not eligible for this award. So I am wondering is NSF really strict on this? Thanks for reading this!
swisnieski Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Almost certainly. Did you submit one of those letters explaining your circumstances and asking for an exemption?
ndct Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Almost certainly. Did you submit one of those letters explaining your circumstances and asking for an exemption? Was your study fulltime study? As I understand it is actually the number of credits they calculate, so if you have less than a year a of fulltime credits you may be eligible...
