Is the working class disappearing?

It seems like it could be. More and more employers are refusing to hire non-college graduates even for positions that don't require a degree, which I think is very discriminatory, and thats how many retailers and restaurant chains are. Because of gentrification many working class neighborhoods are disappearing. Also many manufacturing jobs are being outsourced to other countries and labor unions are rampantly declining.
