Aleksei Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 This is my first ever post on this forum, and I apologize for "spamming" by starting a brand new topic just for myself, but I just can't find what I'm looking for... I am in the process of preparing my applications for PhD programs in Linguistics at universities in the US, Canada and the UK, and I am trying to find opportunities for external financial support - focusing primarily on support for universities in the US. The problem is that it is very difficult to find any clear overview of what kinds of scholarships (for the US) people from the EU (in my case, the Netherlands) can apply to. Most scholarships seem to be exclusively for US citizens or residents, of which I'm neither. I am aware of the Fulbright program, and I'm going to apply for that, but I would like to know whether there are more possibilities. Does anyone have specific recommendations or advice on this? Thanks!
