Hi! I'm an accepted applicant to the MA/PhD program in English at UCSB, and I would love to talk to other people who are considering entering as well as those who are already in the program! Hi! I'm a recent admit to their Comp Lit program. The visit was incredible, by the way - I loved everything about it. Now I'm choosing between other schools that are just as good a match intellectually but lack the sheer beauty and quality of life available in SB. Have you made a decision yet? If you don't mind sharing, what other schools are you considering? Deciding is turning out to be the hardest part of this process - which I suppose is a good thing, since I could have had no offers at all. In any case best of luck to you, and perhaps we'll run into each other at SB in the fall.
