NSF DDIG Biological Anthropology 2016

Hi all, I applied for the DDIG Biological Anthropology section for the November 2015 deadline. I had a review date of 2/18/16, so based on past experiences I'll probably hear in 2-3 weeks. Does that sound about right? Anyone else apply/hear anything yet?

This is my second time around, so fingers crossed!

My review date also was 2/18/16 and my application is still pending. Have you heard anything yet?

I had the same review date and my application also still reads "pending". I know some people who had the same review date and did already receive rejections, so I imagine some highly competitive and non competitive individuals have already been notified. It is likely there are still some more non competitive individuals that need to be notified, but then also the chunk of individuals that fall into the competitive bracket that were not high priority and thus not yet notified. Has anyone else heard anything yet?

A friend of mine emailed Rebecca last week inquiring about their status. Rebecca told them that they should know "within a week or so," so hopefully this means that we should have answers by the end of this week or at the latest sometime next week.

Received an email today that I fell under the "Competitive A" category and was recommended for funding. 16 were competitive A, 20 were competitive B, and 46 were not competitive. Best of luck to everyone else

Hi there! I applied for the bio anth DDIG for the July deadline, and my review date was 10/13/16, so I expect I should be hearing in the next few weeks based on what I've read on threads like this. Is anyone else out there waiting on this one or heard any news yet?
