Gave Jackson a call and they first said that all admissions decisions had been released and they they would let me know what the issue was with my account.  I got put on hold for a minute and then they came back and told me that no admissions decisions had been released and good luck.  haha

This has whole affair has been rather disappointing...

In any case, I called Yale GSAS today and they said that "it's not a technical issue" (referring to the lack of an upload to ApplyYourself). They stated that while GSAS may have received decisions, and that GSAS itself has not uploaded decisions just yet for Yale Jackson.

UPDATE: An administrative assistant at Jackson stated that "there was some confusion" on GSAS's part on the timeline to release all materials. It was "her understanding" that emails were sent out to admitted students (no indication on specifically all admits) and that letters were put in the mail as well.

That's awkward for them. They added a post on Facebook welcoming the newly admitted students. Though it felt weird to me that only one person added their result to the Results page. Honestly, I am not sure what to think anymore :D (though not very hopeful this will change anything for me)

I just received a rejection. Email came through from ApplyYourself and the decision was posted on the application site as well.

am waitlisted. I'm going to see this as a "no" though.. can't think of anybody who'd turn down Jackson :(

They passed on me as well.  Congrats to everyone who got in!  Obviously a great program, just super disappointed with their professionalism/tact towards the end of my experience with them.

Got an email to login online to see letter. :(Rejected. It was a long shot to begin with. Congrats to all who got in though!

Anyone else who was admitted and was contacted by a 2nd year student? Yet, still nothing official or word on funding... it's kinda strange

Nope, no 2nd year students reached out to me yet. It's indeed a bit weird how responses are being managed from Yale. I have a feeling the Jackson Institute and GSAS might be having coordination issues which is affecting responses to students.

Anyways, keeping fingers crossed at the moment! Will post as soon as I get any update from the school.

I got a call from a student--he and I are speaking this afternoon.

I see. I haven't got any calls yet, wonder what that means...

The student who was assigned to you is probably busy. Don't worry, you're already in! :) The hard part is over!

I applied from abroad and would be surprised to get an international call from a current student... Would greatly appreciate if anyone who does speak with a student/admissions could share info! Did you all already reply to the initial email?

I replied! Have not heard back from Cristin Siebert, but didn't expect to--I just wanted to thank her for the good news! I'll let you know what I learn from the current student. Perhaps more relevantly, I called GSAS admissions, and apparently their only advice is "it's coming" and the letter should be up by Friday on the portal. Hope this is helpful!!

Hehe.. Thanks for the encouraging words Colocho. I am just concerned about funding now

Yes I did reply to the initial email but no response yet.

Definitely helpful! Thanks for sharing Ejc5ys :)

Sounds like financial information will be included in our acceptance letter. That might be part of the delay in the delivery through the portal, at least according to the student that I spoke to!

If you log into ApplyYourself, what does it say about the date of completion? For some strange reason it says "Your application was completed on 3/9/2016 1:55:00 AM", so yesterday.

Mine is up--I got full tuition and a stipend for living, so I will DEFINITELY be in New Haven next year!! Hope to see y'all there!

Wow! Congratulations Ejc5ys! I got no fellowship support however so I'm kind of heart broken. I'll have a discussion with Cristin to see what can be arranged.

Almost feels like a rejection when you don't get any funding support. I am waiting to hear back from Fletcher tomorrow; I might just have to give up on Yale if Fletcher gives me a competitive offer.

Wow, congrats! May I ask what your other options are/were?
