oklagirl Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 I know we are a few weeks out but I wanted to start a thread so we can keep each other informed about the 2015-2016 Ford Dissertation Fellowship. If you hear anything let us know!!
oklagirl Posted March 24, 2016 Author Posted March 24, 2016 Someone in the predoctoral forum said they called and it will be late next week.
-Star- Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Okay then. I suppose I can wait another week!! Thanks!
oklagirl Posted March 29, 2016 Author Posted March 29, 2016 Any news? I saw where the pre-doctoral students were getting emails.
-Star- Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 I JUST ( seconds ago) received an email. Got "alternate"/"honorable mention" ... Still a little hope, but I doubt all that many people turn down funding. I hope you got an email too! (And wish you better luck than I had.)
theconstantc Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Ditto. Alternate/honorable mention. I hope some of you have good news!
Songbird222 Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 It was a "no" for me. Congrats to those who won this award!

I think I applied primarily for performance studies, with secondary fields in cultural studies and ethnic studies. It was a bit hard to choose, as I recall. Messy interdisciplinary humanities, anyway.
