I've decided to buffer myself by applying to research-based experimental psychology Masters programs. I chose to only apply to schools that offer funding for their psychology Masters programs, since I am not in the position to take out more loans. On the application pages, all the schools ask me if I am planning to get loans to pay for my education; since these are all programs that are known to fund at least a good portion of their MS/MA students it kind of threw me off. Is there a chance that not applying for graduate loans makes me a less appealing candidate?
