Hertz Fellowship 1st round interview - Has anyone been contacted? When?

I know that there is a 3/4 chance that I wasn't selected for the first interview, but they said I would be contacted in "Mid-November" and I think we're past the middle of November. Has anyone else heard anything? If you applied in the past and got an interview, when were you contacted?

No contact of any sort yet. Still waiting...

I was contacted six days ago on Monday. I know another grad student in my department was contacted this past week, as well.

I guess it's looking bleak for me and finnegans cake then. Theyre not gonna contact us 3 days before thanksgiving...

I mean...you're probably right. But, if we're finding reasons to hold out hope: it may have to do with field and region - they have to find an alumnus first who can fly to do the interview. In my case at least, there are less than 5 Hertz alumni in my field - and probably not many currently in the South.

Just some possibilities at least.

As I understand it, all those offered first round interview received email, all those rejected got snail mail. If you haven't gotten anything yet, I'm pretty sure it's a reject.
