Hello. My son was admitted by both Georgia Tech and UCSB for ChemE (undergrad). I know this is a forum for grad but because my son's plan is to work hard and go on with a masters and a PhD, preferable in a top grad school such as Stanford or UCB(my son loves California),  any feedback from this forum would be very valuable opinion to help us decide for you all have been through undergrad and are applying for grad programs.

Which school do you think would better prepare him for a top grad program? My son is out-of-state student (green-card holder from China)so cost would be about the same for both schools.

Another good offer he has got is Haverford College where they have 3+2 dual degree program with Caltech. There are many pros and cons about 3+2 but you cannot hear from some one who has actually went through the program. Haverford is a great college but is it a good ideas to spend 3 years in non-engineering course if my son is determined to major in ChemE? Should we consider about it also or just focus on GT and UCSB?

He was also accepted by UCLA, UCSD, UW, UDEL, WPI, etc. but he thinks the above three are the best. It is still really hard to choose. Help!

Thank you in advance.
