So after lots of deliberation, I feel like it's come down to between BU and Pitt for my MPH.

BU is stupid expensive, but somewhere I've always wanted to go. Affording the overall living expenses and tuition will be hard my on family, but they'll make it work, as always. I love that it's a core program and how the certificates work, and I've heard nothing but good things about the campus, faculty, etc.

Pitt is great - I've visited the campus, so I know what to expect and it's honestly beautiful. And much cheaper to live and get to as well. But there's not as many hospital connections, and it worries me.

What sets each program apart? Is there a clear cut winner in the job field?

When everything has been considered, your top most priority must be: which program enhances your chances of getting your dream job? Given that measure, Pitt wins, because its low cost but similar rankings with BU means you are likely to get a job coming out of both programs.

When I use rational reasoning, I choose Pitt

When I use irrational factors....like the fact that Boondock Saints (1999) was filmed in Boston or that Alexander Graham Bell taught at BU, then of course I choose BU!

I always choose the irrational decision because it makes me happy.
