casechaser5 Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 I was wondering if I may seek your advice on pursuing a Masters in Marketing (1 year program) with the ultimate goal of pursuing a Ph.D. in Marketing (Consumer Behavior track). Long story short, I have been offered a research assistantship at a top 50 business school (full tuition waiver + small stipend) and another admissions offer from ta top 10 business school with a 1/2 off of tuition scholarship. My question is, based on cost of attendance and reputation alone, would it be worth the $25,000 premium to attend the higher ranked school? Also, whether it be in academe or industry, would the value of my undergrad degree (top 5 business school) diminish/be overlooked once I pursue a Master's degree?
