Is Stanford MSCS min gpa a hard filter?

So the minimum gpa is 3.5 for Stanford MSCS. Is this a hard filter, meaning that any application that doesn't meet the requirement is automatically rejected?

Is there anyone with sub 3.5 gpa that got accepted to MSCS?

Although there might be someone here that knows the answer, I don't see why you don't just email the department. Policies may change over time, and this way you'll know for sure.

"Should" is not quite the same as "must" - the results board shows a few sub-3.5 admits over the past few years. They are few and far between though. You will probably have to be an absolute superstar with a very compelling story and application in order to get in with a low GPA.
