unhappy phd Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Hello everyone! Thanks for your attention I am an international student, currently in a biomedical phd program in a small private school. I am looking for someone to proof read a 5 page research proposal for grammar errors (neuroscience related). It seems like my university does not offer writing tutoring and my PI is out of town. Does anyone have a proofreading service to recommend? Or does anyone want to help me take a look at my proposal? Thanks again! Very grateful for any help/suggestion! PlanB 1
ShogunT Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 (edited) If you don't have the school writing service, then you may want to try Grammarly for yourself. Then get some profs (you do have some connection in the department, don't you?) to have a look at it. Edited May 3, 2016 by ShogunT PlanB 1
aberrant Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 If the OP has been in graduate school long enough, try getting your friends/professors that you know to help you out. You can send them a page or two, instead of the entire proposal, to proofread. Just make sure that you do pay attention to edits that they make and learn from there. Good luck!
