philosobabe
While probably not as nerve racking as waiting out the PhD application process, has anyone heard back from the Columbia's M.A. in Philosophy admissions committee? It's a little early yet considering the April 14th application deadline, but if previous years are any indication the first wave of decision letters would have gone out late last week or early this week with a second wave the penultimate week of May. Though the GSAS website admits that decisions for programs with late deadline are sent will into July. This forum is pretty dead, considering that PhD season has long passed, so I'm not expecting a deluge of responses. But I thought I'd try my luck since there isn't as much data available here (or anywhere for that matter) for the M.A. program as there is for the PhD program. bechkafish
Hi @philosobabe, I applied to Columbia's PhD program, was rejected, and didn't think anything more about it until this morning -- when I got a response from their MA program, to which they must have referred my application. All of this is to say that it looks like Columbia must be sending out MA responses over the next few days, so keep your eyes peeled!
