Underachieve Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Hello everyone. I'm currently an undergraduate Junior in the process of getting an Accounting degree. I plan to continue by getting a Master's, then a CPA, and ultimately applying for grad school. I'll also actively be seeking a job and hopefully working to fulfill the CPA work requirement. Since I'll be much busier starting my senior year, I was wondering if studying and taking the GMAT as a junior (when I'm still relatively free) would be beneficial for me. Has anyone taken the GMAT before graduating? Is there any downsides to taking the GMAT this early? I know the scores are relevant for 5 years, but I've read that schools want more recent scores and was wondering if they'd penalize me for taking the test early, versus doing it closer to application deadlines.
Carcass Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Absolutely. The test is valid up to 5 years. As such, there is not any downside to take tthe test so in advance. Regards
