So I am graduating in fall 2017 with a degree in International Studies with a focus primarily in French languageĀ but have taken a lot of Russian culture and literature classes. I am interested in re-specializing and pursuing graduate school in Russian Studies, but most of the programs that I am interested in require Russian langauge proficiency. I will likely have only three semesters of Russian upon graduation. Does anyone know of opportunities to gain Russian language skills as a non-degree seeking student (e.g., post baccs, immersion programs in the U.S. or Russia, etc.)? Alternatively, does anyone know of graduate programs in Russian that do not require language proficiency/feature language learning?
