i'm new to this forum so please go easy on me. I am copying this question that I posted on quora but got no replies to unfortunately. I'm really hoping that someone can help me out
I recently graduated with a 1st in physics from a UK university and am looking to apply for a taught masters. Anyway I found that UK universities are far more expensive than some of those in other European countries (France). Does this make education in the UK superior? Or will UK unis give me higher prospects overall upon completion? (at least in physics)
Also why are European masters 2 years instead of 1 year? Does this make them better than 1 year programmes in the UK? And I noticed that some deadlines for the programmes I wanted to apply for have passed, even if I make an application now is there a chance it could be considered?
