Anup Bengeri Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Q)As people rely more and more on technology to solve problems, the ability of humans to think for themselves will surely deteriorate. A)Technology is a wide subject. Internet, mobile devices, computers etc being few of the things which are categorised into technology.I agree that overusing technology deteriorates the thinking ability of humans. With all the technology advancements in today's world, the innovative thinking required for discoveries of newer things will surely reduce. The ability to innovate, or think outside the box will get a serious blow as few of the solutions for a particular problem we are studying are already present in the internet. As a result, we lose the interest to find the solution on our own and hence depriving ourselves of learning things which we can on our path for finding the solution. Grinding for the solution for a problem and then finding the solution is a great pleasure and motivation in itself to find for the solution. We learn a lot of things in this course of path, which, due to the technology already available, can be hampering the path of learning. However, you may say that technology will help us in finding greater innovations with the help of already present technology. But, this will not help the people in learning the basics of the concepts which help in developing the technology. Even if we use the technology for finding the solution for a problem, there are a lot of fake solutions on the internet which can lead us to a wrong path and hence may cause a fault in our learning. No authenticity is present on the internet. In the end, if the technology is used at the right amount and right way, may help he/she is developing greater inventions. But most often than not, path is lost in exploring the technology for a solution and innovation takes a major hit.
