Currently a Masters student in statistics at Carnegie Mellon, where I completed my undergraduate degree in mathematics. I am interested in statistics PhD programs have more of an applied (as opposed to theoretical) focus. I am interested in the mathematical modelling of infectious diseases, but want a program that has a research focus in application to global health/human rights as well. Any suggestions?
