I'm interested in pursuing a masters or Ph.D. in statistics. I've always been interested in mathematics. As I was completing my Undergrad Degree in Biology I found myself taking so many classes in Math for "fun" that I ended up with a second degree.

I'm a bit worried that all of my research up until now is in Biology, not in Mathematics. I'm also worried that I have only a basic knowledge of R, Python, and MatLab.

I'm interested in Statistics, because it would allow me to work with math. Something that has been missing since I've started working in biology full time.

I'm also interested in Statistics because I believe it will allow me to dabble in other subjects, such as Evolution, Ecology, Finance and Social Science. Is this actually the case?

I'm still in the process of choosing which programs to apply to so I'd be interested to hear what if any programs I'm qualified for.
