fancypants09 Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Hello all, I'm in the process of writing/editing my last essay! While it's the shortest that I've had to write (500 words), it's the most difficult since I am writing it on failures/challenges that I have faced in my life. How do I go about this tactfully? I tried to treat it as if I were answering it for a job interview--coming up with a somewhat "soft" failure/challenge that could be used to showcase a "hidden" strength instead. However, I was told that this approach was a no-go. I'd appreciate any and all suggestions, and please let me know if it would help for me to provide more details about what I've written.
fuzzylogician Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 I don't really have any experience with this type of essay but I imagine the field/degree you're seeking could have a bearing on the answer.
