universitystudent Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 Does it start with an introduction, lit review, and then what esle? Is there an online resource that I can read over? Thank you!
fuzzylogician Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 Roughly 7-8 months ago, several people on this board spent a lot of time trying to help you with another proposal. I really hope this is not the same one, but you should already have some experience at this point, so maybe you can be more specific: what are you looking for? Have you asked your adsivor about this? Have you looked for resources within your program -- a student handbook or similar texts? Have you tried asking your advisor for examples of successful proposals from previous students? Have you tried asking other students in your program for their approved proposals? Have you checked the library for submitted papers (to use their structure as a guide for an outline)? Those resources will be much more useful than random outlines you might find online, which may or may not be what your particular program is looking for.
KarenHeinz Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 First prepare a good title for your case study. The title page will contain the full title of the article. Then contains abstracts, Abstracts generally follow one of two styles, narrative or structured. You can include following in your abstract: Introduction: This consists of one or two sentences to describe the context of the case and summarize the entire article. Case presentation: Several sentences describe the history and results of any examinations performed. The working diagnosis and management of the case are described. Management and Outcome: Simply describe the course of the patient’s complaint. Where possible, make reference to any outcome measures which you used to objectively demonstrate how the patient’s condition evolved through the course of management. Discussion: Synthesize the foregoing subsections and explain both correlations and apparent inconsistencies. If appropriate to the case, within one or two sentences describe the lessons to be learned. Next step is to explain these sub titles in detail. Finally add Acknowledgments, references, etc.
