Waitlist

Hi,

I wanted to know about this waitlisting thing. I have got a M.S. offer at Univ. of Minnesota. I have also applied for assistantship. So my question is: Suppose somebody gets funding fromt he univ. in form of assistantship but does not join the univ.(rejects),does the offer gets transferred to the students who did not get it? is this part of waitlisting??

I think so. What you say sounds right, but I would contact the admissions secretary for your program to be sure.
