I am a B.E fresher(2009) with an offer from Wipro.I'm planning to take up the job and work for 15 months(bond period). Can anyone suggest when is the right time to take up GRE as am lookin for studying MS after I work for 15 months..I have six months before I join work..So pls suggest if it is better to prepare and take up GRE now and retain that score while applying for Spring 2012.Also pls suggest a good course in the electronics domain as i did my B.E in ECE.Suggest a course which has a good scope in the field. Thanks:)

I would suggest taking the GRE before you go to work for the following reasons

1) Your undergraduate experience is still relatively fresh in your mind so a lot of the math problems will still seem like easy homework problems for you

2) Once you start work, you will not have nearly as much time to prepare for the exam.

3) It gives you plenty of time to get your scores and re-take (if necessary) before you start work

What do you mean by electronics courses?

I second the suggestion. Get GRE out of the way, that way you can focus on your applications while you're working.

@ zlich - By 'electronics courses', I believe she means 'electronics programs'. In most Indian universities, the terminology goes as -- program -> course, course -> subject/paper

@pavithra - I would suggest you figure out your aims for graduate study, even if you're looking at an MS. 'Electronics' is in itself a very broad field, and you will find certain programs more renowned in certain aspects than the others.
