jchow317 Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Hi all, I was having trouble deciding on an engineering graduate school and I am hoping to get some advice here since I am the first in my family to decide to become an engineer. So a bit of background information, I am an international student from Hong Kong studying Civil and Environmental Engineering at Virginia Tech and I currently don't have any concrete plans on what to do when I graduate. I applied to several graduate schools last year and I am now starting to hear back from them. I have listed them below, as well as any scholarship that has been offered: Atmosphere/Energy Masters at Stanford University CEE Masters at UC Berkeley CEE Masters at Carnegie Mellon University with $5000 scholarship per semester Environmental Engineering Masters at University of Michigan CEE Masters at Virginia Tech Right now, I am trying to decide between Stanford and UC Berkeley. From what I've read online, both are good choices for graduate school, but have different atmospheres. I would really appreciate it if someone can give me some advice.
