I am trying to decide between four programs for graduate school for genetics:

WashU DBBS - MGG
Yale BBS - MCGD
Penn BGS - GGR
UNC BBSP

I am very open in terms of research topics, and I have a number of PIs that I am interested in working with at each program, but how much weight does name carry when I am going out into academia - is it more about name of the program or my thesis project?  Should I choose Yale because it is Yale, even if I feel that the support that I seek comes from UNC?

I have turned down Princeton, JHU, CSHL, Rockefeller, and Cornell so far, because I felt that those programs were too focused for my broad-ranging interests or that they did not have the support or facilities that I was looking for.
