SeanZZ Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 I'm deciding if I should go to Canada to study finance phd, from China. I assume the future of finance phd is mainly in academia. But without a Canadian permanent residency, I've heard it is very hard to get hired as an assistant professor. I've searched on indeed.ca, it seems in Canada they prefer to hire assistant professor with permanent residency. Can someone who is experienced about it give me some advice?
