University of Oregon...quarters vs semesters?

I was wondering if anyone could provide some information about the University of Oregon's SLP program, which is quarter based, rather than semester based. I'm not sure if quarters are more intense due to the reduced time frame. I've only experienced semesters, so if anyone has ANY info about Oregon, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

I don't go to that school but I do go to a quarter based school, and it's not bad. We take less classes so it's more concentrated, but do able. I prefer it over the semester system now
