littlepeach09 Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 When are admissions decisions being mailed out? They claimed it would be 4-8 weeks from the application deadline; the 8 weeks mark would be tomorrow. I called and asked, and I was told that decisions would be sent out in March. Anyone else have any more info?
Ronnie Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 I went to Brown and majored in anthro. and there are only and few people working there (wonderful women). it will take a while because this is a BUSY season for them (not just with admissions)
missamy Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 has anyone heard a ballpark/estimate for when we are notified?
littlepeach09 Posted February 19, 2010 Author Posted February 19, 2010 has anyone heard a ballpark/estimate for when we are notified? I called early February and was told that decisions will be sent out early March. They were very vague, though. Feel free to call again! If you hear something different, please post!

Pourquoi Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 I contacted the department today. They wrote me the following: "we cannot contact students with yes or no decisions until the Graduate School has reviewed all the files. We may not hear about this until the end of the week." Good Luck to everyone!
vanishingpoint Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 Any admitted students want to talk about the program at Brown? They were so long in notifying that I had almost written them off, but now I guess they're flying us out early next week? I'm very interested in the Population Studies Training Center, but I'm a little concerned that the professors whose work interests me the most are pre-tenure junior faculty.
