Department vs. Grad School @ UW Madison?

Has anyone heard from the Graduate School at UW Madison? I was unofficially accepted by my department a while back but haven't received any sort of official word from ANYONE since then. I'm starting to think that I really *wasn't* unofficially accepted after all...
