NYC Writing Group

For writers in NYC: A few friends and I have an established weekly writing group, but some of our members are moving away and/or have conflicts, so we are looking for a few new members. Two of us are applying to MFA programs currently, a few have published, and we have all studied writing extensively in college, graduate school, and courses through Sackett Street, Catapult, and Gotham. We are a mix of backgrounds, ages (all late 20s/ early 30s), and genders, and in addition to workshopping each other each week (typically 2 people each meeting, 20 pages max), we also like to drink wine, socialize, commiserate about our survival jobs, and gossip about our love lives.

We are looking for literary fiction writers who want to be part of a fun and close-knit group while also seeking and offering serious feedback and support. 

We meet weekly on Monday evenings in Chelsea, but our schedule is somewhat flexible.
