wannabePhD Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Well, does it? How do these things work?
grammercie Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Well, does it? How do these things work? No, it just means there are 3 acceptances in the results section. Some possibilities: They might be real, or they might be fake. The school might be working down a list and hasn't notified everybody yet. The school might have made a first cut & is waiting to see if they can make more offers. It might mean you didn't get in. So it isn't over until you get a rejection letter/e-mail or some other confirmation from the school. Good luck!

I thought that was the case, but then I was afraid that I was fooling myself. And they might be fake? Who would do that?! That's mean! (My anxiety has hit a fever pitch today!)
digits2006 Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Well usually when there is one post, it could be fake. But if there are three different ones, it might be real. Most of my schools have already contacted people. I am trying to stay positive, but at the same time, not getting my hopes up.
grammercie Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 I have sneaking suspicions about a few of mine, but several won't notify for another couple of weeks. Depending on the schools/disciplines, the game ain't over yet.
