how much will an F on study abroad hurt my grad school application?

Question

Posted

I am a junior in undergrad and currently doing a study abroad semester at one of the top Asian universities. However, I have been having depression since high school and this semester it got worse. I was not able to get the help I needed here and I can see I am failing this semester. I have contacted the school and they are very strict on giving withdrawals. Fortunately study abroad GPA won't count on my official college transcript. So I will still be able to have a GPA with 3.7+ when I apply. I am not sure how much is gonna hurt my application since the schools will still see an F there. I am so worried about it. I know it varies from the program I am applying. I am thinking of doing Psychology for now. Please help me :(
