Hi Kimberly. No any news for SESE at all yet. As an international applicant, did you submit your toefl test score while applying? Acording to an email from SGS, "If the department to which you have applied is interested in your application and proof of English language proficiency is not available, you will be sent a letter inviting you to submit your scores at that time. This would usually be in March." Will we get the result via email, phone or postal mail? What a long and anxious waiting!

I've mentioned it, but don't know if it helps. OISE is also my first choice. Did you all attempt to contact the faculty member? Goodluck everyone ( anxiously waiting, though)

I am relieved to hear it from CKimberly.HAHA. I only applied to SESE at OISE. I missed the deadine for other schools because I decided to start applying too late, after knowing I got a funding from my country. wheatGrass, do you know if i can apply to the flex-time PhD program of SESE after being rejected for the full-time?

congrat! mitchsasha! I heard nothing from OISE. As an international applicant, I guess i will get the result via post, instead of phone, in late March or early April probably. If I have a funding from my country but apply the full-time PhD program, will they automatically transfer my application to the flex-time? All I want is an admission whatever it is. LOL

Thanks you itam for your info. Is the PhD program at OISE so competitive because they can't offer too many positions with funding? Does it help if I earn a funding my self? Thank you

Hi mitchsasha. I just sent a email with my statement of intent to a professor I am interested in, to ask if I could work with him. He only said my research is interesting and "all the best in the application process." Probably he isn't really interested in me. But I do not know if contact a potential supervisor in advance is necessary.

Hi CKimberly! I am also totally on the same boat with you. I am an applicant of SESE for the PhD program from Taiwan. Did you try to contact any faculty members in OISE? I did but the response seems neutral. All the best in the application process
