Congrats!! If you don't mind me asking, what is your field for chemistry? And who was the person to contact you about your acceptance?

Anyone been accepted into UC Berkeley or Harvard for chemical biology? For Berkeley, I applied through chemistry but I don't think I've seen anyone explicitly say they got accepted for chemistry with interest in chemical biology. For Harvard, I know some people had interviews/acceptances for the chemical biology PhD program, but people have also gotten rejections? Maybe people were rejected from the chemistry and chemical biology department - the names are confusing ;__; either way, could anyone give more details? #dying

Anyone have any news on Stanford Biochem?

So I called today and it looks like there's no more hope for chemical and systems biology The lady on the phone said that the invites for that program were already sent out. She made it seem like the individual programs that already sent out their invitations were finished but she mentioned that my second two program choices (Biochemistry and Cancer Biology) still haven't made decisions and that I could potentially hear back from them within the next week or two. So I guess there still may be hope for us, but maybe not in our top choice programs? :/

Will do! We all have to look out for each other and help out haha. I'll call them around noon tomorrow and post what they say. Fingers crossed!

Yeah, not sure either. I think I might call tomorrow... I guess it might be different between the two programs we applied to but I figured it couldn't hurt asking instead of waiting until March to potentially find out the hard way
