prospecting Posted November 5, 2014 Share Posted November 5, 2014 One last thing I wanted to add is this: I do not feel speaking with your UG adviser would be effective in determining how your qualifications will be assessed by the admissions committee at a different school. If anything, your Professor will reassure you that the GRE is one part of a multicomponent selection process and that you need not worry. That's my ultimate goal and my research interests are micropaleontology and paleoceanography. If I retake the GRE it would have to be over the summer meaning I'll have to apply with these scores if I continue the process. I don't feel that I can properly prepare now with everything going on in my life and work. I think I'm just going to apply with these scores and pray. If you don't have time to prepare for another GRE attempt, then any question about how well your application will fare is irrelevant.
