  1. I'm actually building a tiny house right now. There are actually workshops about building tiny houses put on by many of the professional companies that build them. I used to work in construction so I came up with my own plans and am doing it all based on what I already know. I'm currently working on a blog/website about it, so I can add the link in the very near future if you're interested. As for my hobbies, I'm interested in building things(see above), music, as well as cooking, canning, and reading. Last year I set myself a goal of reading 52 books and actually surpassed it, making it to 60. Of course, this year I'm working on building my tiny house and will be attending grad school in the fall, so I don't anticipate getting anywhere close to that number in 2014.
  2. Hey there, Just wanted to see who else was heading to OSU for 2013, as most of this thread is from last year. Anybody been to visit? I'm heading out in a few weeks and was wondering if there were any things that you absolutely needed to check out when visiting Columbus.
  3. For UW I emailed my POI, who I've been in communication with for the past few months and he got back to me pretty soon with an answer. In my experience it seems more likely that they'll give you a straight answer before an admissions committee will.
  4. I've read through the entire thread and was wondering if anyone familiar with Columbus had an opinion of Franklinton. From what I've read online it was formerly pretty run-down and not the safest of places, but it looks that there's a revitalization effort underway. Just wondering, any information would be appreciated. Thanks.
