Hey there! Just wondering what international students studying in the UK normally do for travel insurance in the UK. Did you get it from a UK company when you got there or did you do it in your home country before you left? I know we're covered by NHS while we're in the UK but I plan on taking multiple trips across Europe and would like to be covered for those. I found a couple of companies in the UK and they simply state that if you're a current resident and you have a UK National Insurance number you are eligible, I'm just not really sure that the number provided with my visa work permit is equivalent to a National Insurance number? Any advice or company recommendations are really appreciated. Thanks!

Hi all, Anybody else waiting to hear back about the Goodenough scholarships for housing? I got offered residence in their last round evaluation but scholarship decisions won't be made till this round. When I asked about it, I was told the decisions would be made on May 31st but I have yet to hear back. Does anyone have experience with this? Are they going to wait till the end of the month to announce this? Do they send a notice to unsuccesful applicants as well? Good luck to anybody else waiting on this!

Haha I'm going to take it as a good sign for now, but maybe the winners already know and that's why they're not lurking on this forum!

I still haven't heard. I'm assuming this is a really bad sign Anybody experience any luck? It's unfortunate that they won't notify you if it's a rejection...
