  1. @Leyru- If you havent recieved aid offers from any of the schools, it's definitely worth holding out until after April 15th to see if they will re-up your aid package! Hang in there. My fingers are crossed for you I'm deciding between Fordham and Denver, with significant funding offers from both. Denver is an ASPIA school and has the better reputation/ranking, but Fordham seems to do a great job setting students up with practical work experience throughout their studies and supporting applications to outside fellowships. I've been really impressed with the Fordham students I have talked with as well as their alumni- is it a mistake to turn down Denver to go here?
  2. First acceptance is up in the results search! Who is in? Anyone else still waiting? Did anyone get a funding offer yet?
  3. I also got a phone call (that I missed ahh!). Hopeful that it means a funding offer is coming my way. Fingers crossed! Good luck everyone
  4. Are admissions e-mails being sent directly to personal e-mails or do you need to login to view? My Pioneer ID password isn't working (???) and I'm out of the country so it is difficult to get in touch with the IT department during business hours.
  5. I had a scholarship interview with Korbel yesterday and they said official decisions would begin coming out next week. Good luck to everyone!
  6. Who else applied to Denver for 2015? I am really interested in the Korbel School. The course options seem great and I like that there is a big emphasis on professional development and post-grad career placement. Money is definitely my biggest concern- Denver seems so expensive! Has anyone else been invited to interview for fellowships? Any current Korbel students willing to weigh in on cost of living in the area?
  7. Since taking the GRE, I've received a number of admissions recruitment e-mails from great schools that I am really interested in (HKS, SAIS, Yale, Berkeley, Chicago, etc.). I have high GRE scores, strong language skills, 4+ years of international work experience, and good LORs, but I was not planning to apply to any of these schools because I have a fairly low GPA (3.2/4.00). I'm still very curious about the e-mails I'm getting and would love to correspond with the admissions office, but I'm not sure what is the best way to address the obvious weakness in my application. Are these e-mails just a way to drive application numbers up or are they worth replying to? Has anyone had a good experience responding to a recruitment e-mail? What is the best way to begin a conversation with the admissions office?
